comfortable with how the web works. Particularly when you're
changing pages and uploading new content to your site, you
want to be sure you understand it. Three months has proven
to be a sufficient time for you to get comfortable with the
procedures for adding and editing your pages.

TechTamers has developed a unique process that makes it easy
to understand and easy to update your pages. You'll use a
simple web page editing program and some other software we
will help you download.

In addition to providing you with the website sections listed
above, we have online tutorials that you can print and save.
They provide screen shots and step-by-step instructions for
you to use.

|
You'll have questions. We'll have answers. By having the
freedom to ask a question any time, you'll be more likely
to feel comfortable maintaining your own site. We want to
provide that extra support for you via email.

site rescue service to fix problems

We've all made mistakes. But on the web, they can seem disastrous.
That's why we'll be glad to go in and "fix" any
error you inadvertently make during the 3 month hand-holding
period.

Q: I really know nothing about creating web pages. Do I need
to?
A: No, not at the beginning. But you must be willing to learn as
you go. That is the purpose of the Website Independence Package
- to move you to self-sufficiency in maintenance of your website.
You will need to learn several things about website and web page
creation in order to complete the process.
Q: Will I need to purchase a special software program in order
to edit the pages?
A: No. We've created the pages so that they can be edited in a
simple web creation program. You can choose to purchase that program
or use one of the free tools available on the 'net. All of our tutorials
assume you are using Filemaker Home Page; however, any text editor
will do in a pinch.
Q: It sounds like a good deal to me! How do I get started?

If you are already a TechTamers web site design client, you can
purchase
the Website Independence Package at our store on our secure server.
We'll upload the new sections for your website and send you the
password for the online lessons. You can start working immediately.
Meanwhile, if you have any questions, please contact our Web
Design Division.
If you are new to TechTamers web site design, we will need to survey
your current site. Please complete an information
