FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 3, 1999
Blast into CyberSpace!
Dr. Jeanette Cates, noted technology expert, will show small
business owners, consultants, speakers, and other professionals how
to design an internet presence in an afternoon on September 11 at the
Sheraton Clayton Plaza.
"One of the biggest mistakes business owners make is to put up a
website without appropriate planning," says Dr. Cates. "This lack of
planning results in a website that doesn't generate business. This is
an expensive and unnecessary lesson."
Dr. Cates will lead business owners through the three decisions
only they can make about their website and the process for deciding
who, when and how the website will be created and maintained.
Participants who preregister will be able to complete several email
lessons prior to the live workshop.
"Understanding the importance of the decisions needed for a
successful internet presence is not easy. There is a lot to absorb.
By reviewing some of that content before the live workshop, you have
time to gather the necessary information and complete the homework at
your own pace. This is part of the new learning model we are using in
business and training," said Dr. Cates.
The workshop will be held Saturday, September 11, at the Sheraton
Clayton Plaza, from 1 to 5pm. Details and registration is available
at TechTamers.com/blastoff
and toll-free at 1-877-522-8371.
Dr. Cates, known as The
Technology Tamer, is CEO of TechTamers, an Austin, Texas-based
